Job DescriptionThe Senior Director, Aquatic Resources will be responsible for:
- Providing high-level leadership and advice on the sustainable development of Northern Territory's fishing and aquatic resources;
- Strategic oversight and delivery of NT Fisheries management and research programs;
- Development of national and international partnerships to drive science performance and innovation;
- Supporting the Senior Executive Director in driving a culture of achievement, innovation, and quality through constructive leadership practices and strategic long-term planning.
Austral Fisheries Pty Ltd is committed to delivering evidence-based management of fish stocks, effective management of ecological risks, and economic development of fishing, aquaculture, and seafood businesses. We work closely with Aboriginal communities to support their participation in the seafood industry, marine resource management, and protection of aquatic resources.
