Court Security Specialist

G4S Australia is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Court Security Officer to join our team in Victoria. As a Court Security Officer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and security of the courts, tribunals, and the people who attend them.
Key Responsibilities- Providing Exceptional Customer Service: You will be responsible for providing a high level of customer service to all individuals entering the court, including judges, lawyers, litigants, and members of the public.
- Conducting Security Screening: You will conduct x-ray screening, use metal detectors, and search individuals for prohibited items to ensure the safety and security of the court.
- Roving Security Patrols: You will conduct roving security patrols within and external to the building to prevent and respond to any security incidents.
- Conflict Resolution and Negotiation: You will be responsible for resolving conflicts and negotiating with individuals to ensure the safety and security of the court.
- First Response: You will act as a first responder to any incidents that may occur within the court.
- Access and Control Room Management: You will be responsible for managing access and control rooms to ensure the safety and security of the court.
- Certificate II or III in Security Operations: You must hold a Certificate II or III in Security Operations.
- Current Victorian Security Licence: You must hold a current Victorian security licence.
- Current First Aid Accreditation: You must hold current first aid accreditation.
