Cleanliness Manager

As a seasoned hospitality professional, you will be responsible for leading our housekeeping team to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
About the Role
The successful candidate will oversee daily housekeeping operations, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest standards. This requires strong leadership skills, as well as the ability to motivate and empower staff to achieve their full potential.
You will work closely with our management team to develop and implement strategies that drive customer satisfaction and loyalty. Your expertise in cleaning techniques, equipment, and safety standards will be essential in maintaining high cleanliness standards across our properties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage housekeeping staff, including scheduling, training, and performance evaluations.
- Oversee daily housekeeping operations, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and to high standards.
- Conduct regular inspections of rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas to ensure compliance with cleanliness and maintenance standards.
- Address and resolve any guest complaints or issues related to housekeeping promptly and professionally.
- Manage inventory levels of cleaning supplies, linens, and equipment.
- Monitor and control departmental expenses.
- Develop and implement training programs for new and existing housekeeping staff.
- Provide ongoing coaching and support to staff to enhance their skills and performance.
- Ensure that all housekeeping practices comply with health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operation and guest satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate records of housekeeping activities.
- Prepare and present reports on departmental performance.

About You
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- 3-5 years of experience in a housekeeping or facilities management role, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory capacity.
- A strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment, and safety standards.
- Proven leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on customer service.
- Ability to handle sensitive information and maintain confidentiality.
