Are you a wildlife biologist passionate about working for Washington State? Do you appreciate the outdoors and enjoy assisting small forest landowners?
The primary duties of this position are to provide guidance to small forest landowners related to the effects of forestland management activities on fish and wildlife, and fish and wildlife habitats. Using professional judgment, knowledge, and expertise, this position consults and provides technical assistance to help small forest landowners prepare to conduct forest practice activities on their forest land.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide guidance to small forest landowners on forest practice activities
- Consult with small forest landowners on technical assistance
- Prepare forest practice applications and alternate plans
To be successful in this role, you will need good practical wildlife biology skills and a proven ability to work as part of a team.
