Lead Veterinary Nurse Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Veterinary Nurse to join our team at Seven Animal Health. As a key member of our emergency centre and day hospital, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and leading our nursing team to excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the nursing team in tackling emergency trauma cases, CT scans, and ICU internal medical cases
  • Provide industry-leading customer experience for clients and their pets
  • Develop and implement a gold standard in theatre nursing and ensure the rest of the team delivers a premium level of experience
  • Collaborate with the team to advance back-end operations and set a high standard for nursing excellence

Requirements:

  • Certificate IV Qualifications as a Veterinary Nurse (or equivalent)
  • Minimum of two years' nursing experience, ideally in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent client service, phone, communication, and computer skills
  • Ability to take direction well and work effectively in a team
  • Sound decision-making skills and ability to multi-task in a stressful environment
  • Ability to work a roster that includes day, evening, weekend, and public holiday shifts
  • Driver's license and car required

What We Offer:

  • Competitive salary range of $70,000 - $85,000 depending on experience
  • 4 weeks of annual leave and 1 week of paid C.E. leave
