About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Paediatric Speech Therapist to join our team in Burwood/Blackburn, VIC. As a member of our multidisciplinary Allied Health team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality speech and language supports to clients of all ages with a variety of needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Apply professional judgment and knowledge to provide a wide range of speech and language supports to clients of all ages with varying needs
  • Assess communication and/or mealtime management abilities using various assessment techniques and tools
  • Design holistic, client-centred intervention plans that drive outcomes
  • Support clients, carers, and families in implementing intervention plans and programs
  • Develop comprehensive care plans and reports based on advanced clinical understanding and application of relevant assessments
  • Liaise with other health professionals to ensure optimal client outcomes
Essential Skills and Qualifications
  • Practicing membership of Speech Pathology Australia
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Knowledge of evidence-based principles in assessment and treatment
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Enjoy working with children (prior experience not required)
  • Working with Children Check and National Police Check
  • Eligibility for a Medicare Provider number
  • Australian residency or working towards it
