About the Opportunity

Transport for NSW is seeking a reliable and community-minded individual to join our team as a School Crossing Supervisor. This casual position will provide relief at various school zones in the North Sydney Local Government Area.

About the Role

As a School Crossing Supervisor, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety of children, parents, teachers, and local motorists. Your responsibilities will include:

  1. Providing a visible presence at school crossings during peak hours
  2. Monitoring traffic flow and identifying potential hazards
  3. Communicating effectively with road users and responding to incidents

You will work closely with our team to ensure a safe and efficient transport system.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate:

  1. Effective communication skills and a patient demeanor
  2. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  3. Reliability and commitment to attending shifts

You will also be required to undergo a Working with Children Check, Police Check, and Health Assessment as part of the recruitment process.
