Operating Manufacturing Equipment Safely

The role involves working in a team environment to meet quality control measures and ensure the safe operation of manufacturing equipment. The ideal candidate will be able to work autonomously, maintain high levels of activity across all shifts, and adapt to changing situations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate equipment and perform tasks according to site Work Instructions / Safe Operating Procedures
  • Maintain product quality and packaging standards, meeting delivery targets and ensuring compliance with regulations
  • Participate in training to become a multi-skilled team member, expanding knowledge and skills to enhance performance
  • Communicate safety practices, monitor key performance indicators, and promote safety policies and initiatives
  • Take full accountability for personal safety and well-being, developing an understanding of risk minimization and striving for the highest standards in Safety, Health, and the Environment (SH&E)
Essential Skills:
  • Understanding of basic safety principles and their application
  • Ability to work independently and maintain a high level of productivity across all shifts
  • Flexibility to work various shifts and adapt to changing situations
  • Demonstrated experience in team environments, promoting collaboration and communication
  • Basic understanding of quality principles and their implementation
Desirable Skills:
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably with automated machinery
  • Experience in identifying problems and contributing to their resolution
  • Forklift license and familiarity with material handling
  • Basic computer literacy skills for efficient record-keeping and data analysis
