Graphic Designer Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Graphic Designer to join our team at Yellow Star Press. As a leading printing company in Australia, we offer a unique blend of creativity and technical expertise.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will play a key role in our design process, from concept development to final production. You will work on a diverse range of projects, including branding, marketing materials, large-format graphics, and signage. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about graphic design and wants to contribute to a thriving printing business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create engaging designs for various print materials, such as business cards, stationery, brochures, flyers, posters, signage, and large-format graphics.
  • Prepare accurate artwork for printing, ensuring files meet technical specifications for offset and digital presses.
  • Collaborate with pre-press and production teams to ensure designs are print-ready, making necessary adjustments to layouts, colors, and design elements.
  • Work closely with clients, providing design consultations, discussing project briefs, and delivering design revisions based on client feedback.
  • Manage multiple client projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines without compromising quality.
  • Build strong client relationships by offering professional guidance and insight, ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the project.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest design trends, technologies, and software developments to maintain fresh and competitive work.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a graphic designer.
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and other relevant design software.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, particularly in typography, layout, and color theory.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects, manage deadlines effectively, and work under pressure.
  • Excellent communication skills, presenting ideas clearly and confidently to clients and team members.
  • A creative portfolio showcasing best work in print design.

Salary Package:

The successful candidate can expect an annual base salary of AUD$72,000 - AUD$82,000 + Superannuation Guarantee, reflecting the value we place on your skills and experience.
