OSHC Service Leadership Role

We are seeking a seasoned leader to oversee our OSHC team at St Mark's Lutheran School Mt Barker.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for fostering a collaborative work environment and delivering high-quality programs that promote children's growth and development.

The role is a part-time opportunity offering 33 hours per week, providing an excellent balance between work and personal life.

About the Opportunity:

  • Lead a team of educators in providing exceptional care and education for children aged 0-12 years.
  • Develop and implement engaging programs that cater to the diverse needs of children.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a consistent and high-quality service.

Requirements:

  • ACECQA-NQF approved qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care.
  • HLTAID012 Provide First Aid in an Education and Care Setting certification.
  • Certificate of completion for Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect – Education and Care training.
  • Strong leadership experience and skills to motivate staff, including training, quality improvement, support, and maintaining service standards.

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Knowledge of the National Quality Framework and Regulations.
  • Familiarity with relevant policies and procedures.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
