**About Us**

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Dietitian to join our Integrated Care team, providing exceptional dietetic services aimed at improving clinical outcomes for patients. With a focus on hospital avoidance, supported discharge, and hospital substitution models, you will work closely with the CALHN BRIGHT service and other CALHN sites as required.

This dynamic role emphasizes collaboration with health, social, and community services to support clients with complex needs, developing contemporary practice guidelines and pathways to optimize their care. You will demonstrate advanced professional knowledge and skills, contributing to departmental education, quality improvement, and planning activities.

In this position, you will also have the opportunity to mentor and supervise Allied Health Assistants and undergraduate and postgraduate students, shaping the future of dietetic care. **About the Role**

We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Clinical Dietitian to join our team and make a meaningful difference in the lives of clients with complex needs. To excel in this role, you will demonstrate:

  • **Qualifications:** An appropriate degree or equivalent qualification that ensures eligibility for full membership of the Dietitians Association of Australia (DAA).
  • **Skills and Abilities:** Strong organizational skills, the ability to work independently and collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams, high-level communication and interpersonal skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving and conflict resolution.
  • **Experience:** Proven clinical experience in assessing and managing clients with complex needs, participation in quality improvement initiatives, and expertise in supervising and mentoring students.
  • **Knowledge:** A comprehensive understanding of clinical nutrition, evidence-based practice, quality improvement principles, and community support services, along with an awareness of Work Health and Safety protocols.
