Estimated Salary Range

The estimated annual salary for this position is between $65,000 - $90,000 AUD, depending on experience and qualifications.

Job Description

This 12-month opportunity as a Procurement Specialist will be an exciting addition to our procurement team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for:

  • Liaising with customers and suppliers to provide purchasing support and resolve requisition processes efficiently.
  • Developing and implementing processes to monitor compliance with expense management, spend behavior, and encouraging best practices to minimize risks for the organization.
  • Standardizing product purchases and approved suppliers across nominated product categories.
  • Assisting in sourcing, purchasing, and consolidating various goods and services, including managing backorders, discrepancies, and ongoing standing orders.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should possess:

  • At least 2 years of experience in a purchasing role, preferably in a customer-centric environment.
  • Solid analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent collaboration, influencing, and interpersonal skills to work effectively with all levels of management and staff.
  • Previous experience managing suppliers and stakeholders in a service environment, along with a commercially-minded and innovative approach.
