Job Overview

As a key member of our Maintenance Team, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of equipment and contribute to the safe and efficient operation of our Mt Holland site. This is an excellent chance for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys taking on new challenges.

This role requires strong technical skills, as well as excellent communication and teamwork abilities. You will be working closely with other maintenance staff to identify and resolve issues, so it's essential that you are a team player who is comfortable working in a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and repair tyre/rim/wheel conditions as required
  • Remove and replace rim/wheel to vehicles, remove and replace tyres to rim/wheel as required
  • Perform regular tyre inflation pressure checks, adjust and report to Supervisor
  • Source technical information from relevant reference manuals and computer-based systems
  • Initiate actions to prevent the occurrence of equipment non-conformance
  • Maintain high housekeeping standards and conduct pre-start checks
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Certificate II Automotive Tyre Servicing Essential
  • Minimum 1 year experience in Mine Site based heavy tyre fitting
  • Previous open cut mining experience in the maintenance of a heavy earthmoving fleet essential
  • HR Drivers Licence Required
  • Proven commitment to health and safety at all times
