About the Role
We are seeking Speech Pathologists to provide expert support to students in achieving positive educational outcomes through effective communication.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver therapy and support students in a group-based model alongside teachers.
- Implement the school-wide communication goals.
- Assess, design, and produce support for students' communication needs.
- Liaise with support services and professionals regarding student communication needs.
- Contribute to Student Support Groups meetings.
- Provide professional development for school staff.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Applied Science (Speech Pathology).
- First Aid Certificate.
- Working with Children check.
Desirable
- Knowledge and skills in working with students with disabilities.
- Experience in addressing complex communication needs through implementing communication strategies and Alternative and Augmentative Communication (AAC) technologies.
