The Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Care Service Employee at Heiden Park Lodge Hostel in Sydney. As a Care Service Employee, you will play a vital role in facilitating positive health and well-being options for individuals, their families, and carers.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Provide person-centred care duties, focusing on the unique needs and preferences of each resident.
  • Assist with medication administration and wound dressing, ensuring accuracy and safety.
  • Support daily living activities, promoting independence and dignity.
  • Work collaboratively with residents to continue doing the things they love, enhancing their quality of life.
Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A Certificate III in Aged Care or Individual Support (or working towards).
  • The ability to provide a wide range of person-centred care duties, driven by compassion and empathy.
  • A desire to work collaboratively with residents, families, and carers to achieve positive outcomes.
  • Experience in Aged Care is desirable, but not essential.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
