Truck Technician Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled technician to join our Melbourne team.

This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing premium sleeper cab air conditioning units in trucks.

The successful candidate will have strong mechanical and auto electrical knowledge, preferably with experience in truck or heavy vehicle maintenance.

You will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing electrical and mechanical faults, carrying out routine maintenance and servicing, and creating custom installations based on customer needs.

About the Job

  • Install air conditioning units in various truck makes and models
  • Diagnose and repair complex electrical and mechanical issues
  • Perform routine maintenance and servicing tasks
  • Create customized solutions for customers
  • Provide technical support to sales teams

Required Skills

  • Strong mechanical and electrical knowledge (truck or heavy vehicle experience a plus)
  • Experience with air conditioning unit installation, maintenance, or repair is highly regarded
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Able to work independently and under pressure
  • Flexible and able to adapt to changing situations
