About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech and Communication Specialist to join our multidisciplinary team. As a senior member, you will deliver high-quality services to participants with various diagnoses and disability types, focusing on complex communication, swallowing difficulties and challenging behaviors.

  • You will work across diverse settings, including family homes, schools, group homes, day programs, community centers, telehealth and offices.
  • You will build lasting relationships with your clients, enhancing their communication, independence and celebrating their achievements.
  • Additionally, you will be an integral part of your site's multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities
  • Tertiary qualifications in Speech Pathology are essential.
  • Registration with the relevant speech pathology association is also necessary.
  • Experience working with NDIS participants in a clinical or community setting is desired.
  • A car and driver's licence are mandatory.
  • A National Police Clearance, Working with Vulnerable People Check & NDIS Worker Screening Clearance or ability to acquire one for client-facing roles (or willingness to obtain one before commencement) are essential.
