We are seeking a seasoned construction risk professional to lead the way in mitigating risks and driving underwriting profitability in the Asia Pacific region.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough desktop reviews of large-scale industrial construction projects, ensuring compliance with best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Carry out site visits to monitor progress, gather critical risk information, and provide actionable recommendations to insured parties.
- Develop innovative tools to manage and reduce financial risks associated with our portfolio.
- Analyze significant losses in construction projects, extracting relevant data and uploading it to our loss database.
- Promote knowledge sharing and capacity building among risk engineers and underwriters.
- A degree in Civil or Industrial Engineering is essential, backed by at least ten years of hands-on experience in heavy industries, including leadership roles as site manager.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills are crucial for effective collaboration and stakeholder engagement.
- The ideal candidate must be able to work independently and collaboratively within a dynamic team environment.
