Job Title:

Ambassador for Workplace Wellbeing

Job Summary:

The Ambassador for Workplace Wellbeing is responsible for the effective management of workers compensation claims within a healthcare setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Processing and managing workers compensation claims in accordance with relevant legislation and policies.
  • Notifying claims to the relevant authorities and liaising with claimants, supervisors and managers, solicitors, investigators and treatment providers.
  • Managing medical certificates and calculating workers compensation weekly benefits.
  • Maintaining accurate records and preparing regular statistics and reports related to workers compensation claims.
Requirements:
  • Knowledge of NSW workers compensation legislative requirements for claims management and calculation of claims payments.
  • Experience in payroll operations, including calculation of pays particularly in relation to health roster and staff link.
  • Ability to use spreadsheet and database applications to manage data and prepare reports.
  • High level of accuracy with mathematical calculations and recording data for workers compensation payments and reimbursements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
