As a key member of our team, you will oversee essential financial processes crucial to our growth and success. Your responsibilities will include managing both Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable functions while collaborating closely with senior management to provide strategic financial insights that shape the business's future.

We are seeking a seasoned Finance Manager with comprehensive experience in accounting and finance management, including monthly/annual closing, audits, budgeting, tax filings, and analysis. You should be adept at managing a team of four (two AR and two AP staff) with the potential for future expansion.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Management: Oversee AR and AP processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial transactions.
  • Reporting & Analysis: Prepare and review journal entries, general ledger reconciliations, and financial statements, offering a comprehensive view of the company's financial performance.
  • Budgeting & Forecasting: Collaborate with senior management to develop accurate financial forecasts and annual budgets.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with tax and financial regulations, keeping the business in line with legal requirements.
  • Process Optimisation: Drive process improvements for more efficient financial operations.
  • Strategic Financial Support: Provide in-depth financial analysis and insights that support strategic decisions and business development.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor the accounting team, fostering a high-performing, collaborative environment.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field, and at least 5 years of experience in finance roles with a focus on AR/AP and financial reporting. Bilingual ability in Japanese and English is also required, as well as analytical skills, leadership and communication skills, attention to detail, and technical skills in Excel and MYOB.

This full-time position comes with an attractive salary of up to $100,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications, plus superannuation. We offer flexible working hours and a supportive work environment.
