Job Description

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled General Purpose Hand to join our team, working across a 7-day per week roster. As the face of our company, you will be responsible for assisting with vessel operations while providing exceptional customer service to passengers on board.

This is a hands-on position that requires strong communication skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for:

  • Working under the direction of the Master to maintain a safe and compliant marine operation;
  • Ensuring compliance with all policies and procedures;
  • Safe deck line and boarding hardware handling;
  • Cleaning of passenger cabin and deck areas in a safe and efficient manner;
  • Watch keeping duties as instructed by the Master;
  • Patient assistance and maintaining good passenger relations;
  • Maintaining safety and satisfaction of passengers on board;
  • Delivery of on-board kiosk beverage sales compliant with Responsible Service of Alcohol guidelines.

Your Skills and Qualifications

  • NSW Responsible Service of Alcohol license;
  • AMSA General Purpose Hand Certificate of Competency;
  • Current First Aid Certificate;

Salary: AU$65,000 - AU$80,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
