As an Accountant, you will be responsible for preparing financial statements and tax returns for individuals, partnerships, companies, trusts, and self-managed superannuation funds. You will also work on Business Activity Statements, Instalment Activity Statements, and state tax returns such as payroll tax and land tax.

Key Responsibilities:

* Preparation of financial statements and tax returns
* Preparation of Business Activity Statements and Instalment Activity Statements
* Preparation of statutory obligations
* Working knowledge of accounting software
* Good understanding of income tax, payroll tax, and lodging obligations
* Working with team members to ensure client work is completed within the timeframe
* Bank and GL reconciliations
* Review of BAS and income tax returns workpapers
* Liaising with the ATO, ASIC, clients, and other professionals
* Conducting year-end accounts and GL audits

Requirements:

* 3+ years of experience in Public Practice
* Strong organisation skills and attention to detail
* At least a bachelor's degree in accounting
* Experience in MYOB, Xero, Quickbooks
