We are currently seeking an OSHC Service Assistant to join our team at Silkwood School in Mount Nathan. As a valued member of our team, you will play a crucial role in delivering quality activities, supervising children, and supporting their overall development.

Job Description

  • After School Care: 3:00 pm - 6:00 pm, Monday to Friday
  • Holiday care (up to 6 hours per day)
  • Deliver daily quality activities that are safe, fun, stimulating, and carry educational value
  • Supervise and support children during these programs
  • Prepare and serve healthy food options
  • Create an engaging and happy environment for children
  • Build meaningful relationships with colleagues, children, families, school leaders, and the school community

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Engaging and warm personality
  • Strong focus on child safety and appreciation for mandatory reporting
  • Excellent communication and people skills
  • Certificate III or higher in Children's Services, Early Childhood, School Aged Care, or equivalent
  • Working with Children Check (willing to obtain)
  • HLTAID012 First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis & Asthma Management Training (or willing to obtain)
  • Child Protection Certificate
  • Available to work Monday to Friday
