Job Description:

  • Develop business-critical hypotheses and validate them using Wesfarmers' extensive data sets.

  • Identify actionable data insights, translate them into clear business recommendations, and deliver key findings to the business in an agile manner.

  • Effectively communicate complex analytical techniques to non-technical stakeholders, fostering enthusiasm and demand for analytics-driven decision-making.

  • Support business stakeholders in leveraging data insights, integrating data from end-to-end, and creating tangible business value.

  • Benchmark and quantify the outcomes of analytics-based decision-making, showcasing the impact of data-driven approaches on business performance.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in developing and applying analytics technology, working with large and complex data sets.

  • A proven track record in identifying, developing, and executing use cases that drive measurable business value.

  • Strong commercial acumen, ability to engage and influence business users, and expertise in customer attributes and data products.

  • Proven ability to communicate insights effectively to technical and non-technical audiences, with a real interest in analytics and its application in a business context.

  • Proficiency in SQL and/or other analytics languages, along with experience with visualization tools such as PowerBI or Tableau.

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field.
