Youth Support Worker

**Job Title:** Youth Worker Out Of Home Care
This is an exciting opportunity to make a difference in the lives of young people by providing them with a safe and supportive environment.
You will be working as part of a dedicated team, supporting young people in a residential setting and helping them to develop the skills and confidence they need to thrive.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and relationship building skills, and will be able to work effectively with young people from diverse backgrounds.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting young people in a residential setting
- Developing and implementing individualized plans to support young people's needs
- Providing guidance and advice to young people on a range of issues
- Working collaboratively with other staff members to ensure the smooth running of the program
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Certificate IV in Child, Youth and Family Intervention or relevant tertiary qualification
- Excellent communication and relationship building skills
- Able to work effectively with young people from diverse backgrounds
Benefits:
- Casual roles offer 25% casual loading and shift penalty rates
- Permanent roles provide guaranteed hours from 30-74 per fortnight
