Job Description

Infinite Consulting is seeking experienced Java Developers for our esteemed Federal Government Client.

About the Role:

In this role, you will be part of a small multi-disciplinary team developing software based on the Agile methodology.

  • Develop software applications to meet business requirements and support projects/programs using Java with respect to System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile development practices and processes.
  • Manage productive stakeholder relationships and associated risks.
  • Develop an agreed work plan including key performance indicators and outcomes.
  • Regular reporting against performance and effort.
Essential Experience:

Demonstrated experience in Java programming.

  • Ability to interpret user requirements/user stories and produce code with minimal defects.
  • Experience working in an enterprise software development environment; ability to leverage off existing software frameworks and development processes (GIT & Azure Dev Ops, recent experience developing applications on IBM WebSphere Application Server/Portal Server platforms using PrimeFaces UI framework/MyFaces implementation).
  • Ability to develop software where users are authenticated and unauthenticated.
  • Intellij and Maven build tools.
  • Experience using SOAP, XML, EJB 3 and Web Services/RESTful APIs.
  • Proficient in Java/J2EE/JEE design and development.
  • Relevant qualifications and/or certification as a Java Developer.
Submission Requirements:

Initial term: Contract until 30th June 2024.

Extension: 6 months option to extend.

Clearance: Australian Citizens with current Baseline clearance.
