The Role
We are seeking an experienced Statutory Planning Officer to join our team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for assessing planning applications efficiently within statutory timeframes.
You will provide weekly reports on development application statuses and represent the council at the State Administrative Tribunal.
Key responsibilities include preparing reports on planning matters and liaising with internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements
- A minimum of experience in assessing development applications is required.
- You must have a positive attitude and strong team focus.
- Excellent communication skills are essential.
- You should be able to liaise with a range of stakeholders effectively.
- Clear concise report writing abilities are necessary.
Estimated Salary
The estimated annual salary for this role is approximately $90,000 based on industry standards for Perth, Australia.
