About the Role:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Traffic Coordinator to join our team in Canberra. As a key member of our commercial airtime team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day compilation of commercial and program data in on-air schedules for our television markets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of daily channel transmission logs to final download for Playout Presentation
  • Placement of commercials, promotional spots, billboards, community service announcements, news updates, program fillers, consumer advice disclaimers, on-air supers, watermarks, and station identifications
  • Ensuring correct program feeds are allocated from the Network(s) or that material that is placed into the schedule and played off SCA content playout servers is scheduled correctly
  • Correct timing out of the 24-hour schedule of each channel log
  • Forward preparation of logs as required
  • Ensuring SCA adheres to the Commercial Television Industry Annotated Code of Practice
  • Filling and conflicting commercials daily as required
  • Responding to schedule irregularities provided by Playout Presentation
  • Archiving of schedules

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication skills
  • High attention to detail with the ability to prioritize tasks based on importance
  • Basic computer proficiency, ideally having used Microsoft Windows & Outlook
  • The ability to show us you can be a proactive and productive member of our team
  • A positive attitude with resilience and the ability to work well in a team
