Early Childhood Education Career Opportunity

We are a 28-place occasional care service located in the heart of Wollongong, providing education and care to diverse children and families. Our goal is to create a sense of belonging that leads to engaged, settled, and involved children, families, and educators.

As an Early Childhood Worker trainee, you will gain valuable knowledge and experience while working alongside our qualified and supportive educators. You will complete your Certificate III in Early Education and Care during an 18-month program, which includes theoretical and practical components.

Our organisation has a strong history of delivering quality education and training services. We operate based on our vision of enriching futures for children, families, students, and communities.

You will be supported by our dedicated Educator team and trained by experienced Early Childhood Coordinators. Your development will be further enhanced through mentoring, comprehensive induction, and wellbeing programs.

With competitive salaries above the award rate, course fees covered, and a bonus payment every six months, you will have the chance to grow professionally while making a real difference in the lives of children and families.

Key requirements include being 18 years or older, having a genuine interest in working with young children, and completing the program's practical and theoretical components. A current Working with Children Check clearance number and COVID-19 Vaccination are also required.

Desirable criteria include holding a Current First Aid Certificate (HLTAID004 - Provide emergency First Aid in an education and care setting).
