**Job Overview**
We are seeking a highly skilled Mig Welder and Fabricator to join our team at West Coast Sheet Metal, a dynamic and growing company in the manufacturing industry.
The successful candidate will be responsible for fabricating and assembling products to meet customer requirements, working collaboratively with other departments and projects to achieve business goals.
**About the Role**
This is a full-time opportunity working 8-hour day shifts with optional overtime. The role requires strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
**Responsibilities**
- Fabricate goods to customer specifications using mild steel and silicone bronze
- Operate plant and mobile equipment, including overhead cranes
- Collaborate with team members and other departments to achieve business objectives
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to strict safety rules and contributing to a safe working environment
**Requirements**
- Essential: 2+ years of experience in a production environment, welding experience in mild steel and galvanized products, and AQF Certificate III Engineering (Fabrication) desirable
- Strong commitment to producing high-quality products, ability to work independently and in a team environment, and sound awareness of safety standards
