Sign Maker Job Description

The role of a Sign Maker involves creating high-quality signs using sheet metal, aluminum, stainless steel, and mild steel.

  • Cutting, guillotining, and folding sheet metal components
  • Using electric and pneumatic hand tools to shape and refine metal parts
  • MIG and TIG welding for various metals
  • General fabrication skills including reading and interpreting drawings
  • Working as part of a team and independently to meet deadlines

Able to read and interpret drawings, skilled with Mig and Tig welding for aluminium, stainless and mild steel, general fabrication skills, hands-on, efficient, enthusiastic person who shows initiative, ability to work in a team and independently. A Driver's license, Forklift license, Grinding/Polishing and Linishing skills are beneficial but not essential. Trade qualified preferred. Must have rights to work in Australia, permanent residents and current Visa holders only.
