Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Client Relationship Manager to join our team at People in Focus.

As a Senior Client Relationship Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining a varied portfolio of clients and developing a rewarding career with our company.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • You will be the first point of contact for client enquiries, building and maintaining client relationships through effective communication.
  • Purchase order management, quotations, and rate negotiations will be key aspects of your role.
  • Updating rates, chasing documentation, and ensuring correct paperwork is received will also be part of your responsibilities.
  • You will pass documentation on for customs clearance and monitor cargo availability, status, and check transshipments.
  • Sea/Air cargo reporting, paying charges, and organizing EDOs will also be part of your duties.
  • You will organize local and interstate road and rail movements, finalize invoices to clients and overseas agents, and liaise with shipping lines, freight forwarders, overseas agents, customers, suppliers, and internal staff.
Requirements:
  • Cargowise EDI experience is highly desired, as well as prior Import Sea Operations/Customer Service experience with a freight forwarder in the Australian market.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, ability to prioritize and meet deadlines, time management skills, attention to detail, and proficiency are essential.
  • You should be able to apply creativity and problem-solving skills to excel in this role.

The salary for this position is approximately $90,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.
