About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Product Designer to join our team at Australia Post. As a key member of our digital design team, you will play a critical role in shaping the user experience of our products and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deliver digital products that meet the needs of our customers.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our customers' needs, behaviors, and motivations.
  • Design and deliver user-centered solutions that are intuitive, accessible, and meet business objectives.
  • Work closely with research teams to conduct customer interviews, usability testing, and qualitative/quantitative research to inform design decisions.
  • Lead the creation of design deliverables, including customer journeys, user flows, design mockups, design patterns, and prototypes.
  • Communicate design concepts and solutions to stakeholders through effective storytelling and visualizations.
  • Contribute to the evolution and maintenance of our Postmaster Design System.
  • Participate in design critiques and provide constructive feedback to achieve design excellence.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar role, with a focus on user experience, product, or interaction design.
  • Demonstrable portfolio of work showcasing experience in designing digital products, large-scale websites, or applications.
  • Strong understanding of customer-centric practices across digital and omnichannel ecosystems.
  • Experience designing digital products within a large organization or enterprise, including exposure to digital strategies and roadmaps.
  • Advanced analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage ambiguity, work autonomously, and multi-task in an agile environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to visualize abstract ideas and concepts.
  • Knowledge of front-end and/or native mobile technologies to inform discussions with engineering and architecture peers.
  • Excellent working knowledge of accessibility & WCAG standards.
