Job Title: Maintenance Electrician

We are currently seeking a trade-qualified and experienced maintenance electrician to join our high-performing team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain, repair, and install electrical systems across machinery and building infrastructure
  • Attend and respond to equipment breakdowns, conducting fault diagnosis using control software
  • Maintain and troubleshoot variable speed drives and other automation components
  • Complete scheduled preventive and corrective maintenance tasks
  • Inspect and maintain electrical distribution boards and low-voltage systems
  • Carry out project work, shutdown maintenance, and electrical upgrades as directed
  • Ensure maintenance logs, breakdown records, and work orders are completed accurately and on time
  • Conduct thermographic testing and monitor power factor correction systems
  • Adhere to safety procedures and participate in site risk assessments
  • Participate in an on-call roster and assist other trades when required
  • Contribute to reliability improvements through root cause analysis and corrective actions
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • A current Australian Electrical Licence
  • A minimum of 3+ years' experience in industrial electrical work (domestic or commercial-only experience will not be considered)
  • Strong knowledge and experience with programmable logic controllers, variable speed drives, automation, and robotics
  • A forklift, boom lift, or elevated work platform licence (desirable)
  • Excellent diagnostic and fault-finding skills
  • Mechanical aptitude and the ability to work across trades when needed
  • A strong understanding of workplace health and safety and risk management in industrial environments
  • Good communication and organisational skills
  • The ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
