Job Title: Marine Naturalist

Job Summary:

Orca Spirit Adventures is seeking a part-time On Board Naturalist for the 2024 Whale Watching Season. As a Marine Naturalist, you will be responsible for providing an educational and enjoyable experience for our guests while ensuring the safety of the passengers and the vessel at all times.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the captain in ensuring the safety of the passengers and the vessel at all times
• Provide an educational and enjoyable experience for Orca Spirit guests
• Share knowledge and passion for the local marine wildlife and environment
• Work collaboratively with the captain and other crew members to deliver exceptional customer service

Requirements:

• Degree in Biology or equivalent experience through practical work in a similar role
• Marine Emergency Duties A2 and Marine First Aid certification
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations
