Key Opportunity:

We are seeking an accomplished Senior Operations Manager to lead our pre-hospital care delivery services.

This is a unique chance to drive organisational change and reforms, improve service delivery systems, and contribute to strategic planning.

You will be responsible for developing and implementing statewide operational policies, standards, and service improvement initiatives. Additionally, you will build and maintain productive relationships with partners and key stakeholders.

  • The ideal candidate will have developed leadership skills, demonstrated capabilities in planning and managing complex coordination of pre-hospital care delivery within an emergency service/disaster management environment.
  • Detailed knowledge and understanding of contemporary issues impacting ambulance services with proven ability to drive organisational change and reforms.
  • Strong leadership skills with proven success leading diverse teams in competing priorities and needs with limited resources.

Responsibilities:

  1. Drive and influence organisational change and reforms to improve service delivery systems.
  2. Provide expert policy advice and contribute to strategic/operational planning.
  3. Develop and implement statewide operational policies, standards, and service improvement initiatives.
  4. Build and maintain productive relationships with partners and key stakeholders.

Working Conditions:

  • May require participation in shift work, including weekends and on-call duties.
  • Must hold an open Queensland 'C' Class Driver's Licence for a manual motor car.
  • Will require proof of qualification/s and current registration under the National Scheme.
