Job Description

We are seeking an Electrical Maintenance Coordinator to join our Sydney based team. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating maintenance activities and ensuring the smooth operation of equipment.

This is a busy but varied role where no two days will be the same. You will be responsible for carrying out routine maintenance tasks, as well as coordinating and motivating local contractors as needed.

The successful candidate will have experience in electrical maintenance, supervisory skills, and financial management abilities. They will also possess strong communication skills and be able to work effectively at all levels.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities
  • Establish a preventative maintenance schedule to maximize system performance.
  • Implement and monitor quality control measures.
  • Ensure necessary resources are available for assigned tasks.
  • Continuously look for ideas to improve operations and provide advice and support to your manager.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety policies and procedures.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you will need to have the following:

  • A current Electrician Supervisor Certificate.
  • Experience in electrical and/or mechanical aspects of conveyor systems or similar equipment.
  • Knowledge of control systems.
  • Financial management skills.
  • A proven ability to build positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated proactive approach and use of initiative.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
