About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for an Electrical Site Engineer to join our team at UGL Pty Limited. As a key member of our project team, you will be responsible for supervising and managing the installation of electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, and emergency systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and manage the installation of electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, and emergency systems.
  • Collaborate with project managers and engineers to ensure electrical designs meet project specifications and compliance standards.
  • Conduct site inspections and quality assurance checks to ensure work is carried out according to relevant codes and safety regulations.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues during installation and commissioning phases.
  • Coordinate with contractors and subcontractors to ensure timely completion of electrical tasks.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate project documentation, including drawings, specifications, and progress reports.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and promote a culture of safety on site.
  • Assist in the development of project schedules and resource allocation for electrical work.
About You

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Site Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have:

  • Tertiary education in Electrical Engineering.
  • At least 4 years' experience in Electrical Engineering (practical as well as design).
  • Strong communication skills (oral & written) including strong negotiation and influencing skills.
  • Strong understanding of Building Codes, utilities requirements, and building services to be implemented in residential buildings.
  • Proven experience as design engineer with full understanding of local construction methodologies throughout all areas of residential development.
  • Experience working on large accommodation villages made up of modular buildings or similar types of projects.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently to organise and prioritise demands, handle multiple complex tasks simultaneously, set and meet deadlines.
