This position will serve as a key role in the primary referral hospital for the region, providing exceptional care and contributing to high-acuity cases and diverse clinical experiences.

The maternity unit is a hub for birthing and inpatient maternity care, while antenatal and postnatal services are extended to the region. With around 1000 births annually, the unit boasts a team of skilled midwives and is backed by a Level 4 Neonatal Unit and an 8-bed Level 4 Intensive Care Unit.

We seek seasoned medical professionals who thrive on challenges, viewing them as avenues for growth, and are deeply committed to enhancing healthcare within modern health systems. The ideal candidates will play a pivotal role in advancing patient and system-level healthcare.

Eligibility criteria include General, Provisional or limited registration with AHPRA, completion of AMC MCQ (part 1) or both AMC 1 & 2 (clinical exam), assessment via the Competent Authority Pathway, or assessment by RANZCOG College as partially or substantially comparable.

This role is well-suited for applicants with 7+ years of international experience working as an O&G Registrar in non-CA countries.

We offer a competitive salary package, commensurate with Australian standards, estimated to be in the range of $180,000-$220,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience. This includes comprehensive benefits, professional development opportunities, and a supportive work environment.
