Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Golf Course Maintenance Professional to join our team in maintaining the golf course at a premier resort.

Responsibilities

- Maintain golf course grounds and facilities to the highest standards
- Bunker maintenance, repairs, and minor renovations
- Mowing and trimming of grasses and plants
- Course setup and preparation for tournaments and events
- Monitoring weather conditions to ensure optimal course maintenance
- Regular maintenance and servicing of equipment
- Tree and shrub care to maintain aesthetic appeal
- Management of irrigation systems to conserve water resources

Requirements

- Certificate in Sports Turf Management (Apprenticeship available)
- Ability to work a 7-day rotating roster, including evenings and weekends
- Passion for the outdoors and interest in golf course design and management
- Relevant landscaping experience, preferably in a sports turf environment
- Forklift license and chemical handling certificate advantageous
