Warehouse Associate Job Description

Job Summary:

The Warehouse Associate will be responsible for performing various tasks related to the receipt, storage, and shipping of goods. The successful candidate will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols, and working effectively as part of a team.

Responsibilities:

  • Receive and inspect goods upon arrival
  • Store goods in designated areas, ensuring they are properly labeled and inventoried
  • Pick and pack orders for shipment, using computerized systems or manual processes as required
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety protocols
  • Work effectively as part of a team to achieve warehouse goals and objectives

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. You should also have the ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on attention to detail and organizational skills. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, but not required. Previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment would be an asset.
