Painter Decorator Position

This role requires precision and attention to detail, ensuring the highest quality finish for our clients. As a painter decorator, you will be involved in various stages of interior and exterior painting projects, including erecting scaffolding and ladders, preparing surfaces, and maintaining cleanliness of the work area.

  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Erect scaffolding and ladders, placing drop sheets to protect areas from paint.
    • Prepare surfaces by removing old coatings, repairing woodwork, filling cracks, and ensuring surfaces are smooth and sealed.
    • Maintain cleanliness of the work area and properly handle equipment.
    • Perform additional tasks such as window repairs and tile laying as needed.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship.

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a Certificate III in Painting and Decoration and have a minimum of three years experience in a similar role, demonstrating proficiency in a range of painting and decorating techniques.
