Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Specialist Anaesthetist to join our team on a locum basis. As a Specialist Anaesthetist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality anaesthetic care to patients in a variety of settings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality anaesthetic care to patients, including pre-operative assessment, anaesthesia, and post-operative care
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
  • Participate in on-call rotations and provide emergency anaesthetic services as required
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of anaesthetic protocols and guidelines
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the continuous improvement of anaesthetic services

Requirements

  • Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
  • Completion of a Specialist Anaesthetist training program and Fellowship of the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists (ANZCA)
  • Current working rights in Australia
  • COVID-19 vaccination
