Senior Process Engineer Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Process Engineer to join our team. As a Senior Process Engineer, you will be responsible for providing expertise and managing process design through engineering phases from concept/select, FEED through to detailed design and delivery.

You will work closely with Project Managers and Team Members to ensure Projects are delivered within scope, schedule, and budget. Your responsibilities will also include managing and tracking single-discipline projects, writing technical reports as required, preparing proposals and tenders for new and ongoing works, and providing technical guidance to develop junior engineers.

About the Role
  • Provide expertise and manage process design through engineering phases from concept/select, FEED through to detailed design and delivery.
  • Proactively communicate with Project Managers and Team Members to ensure Projects are delivered within scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Manage and track single-discipline projects.
  • Write technical reports as required.
  • Prepare proposals and tenders for new and ongoing works.
  • Provide technical guidance to develop junior engineers.
Requirements
  • Education: Process Engineering degree (or equivalent)
  • Experience: 6+ years process design experience in the Oil & Gas, and/or Future Fuels industries
  • Certifications: CPEng or CEng/RPEQ registration
  • Skills: Excellent skills in using Aspen HYSYS, Aspen Plus, and DNV PHAST software; sound knowledge of process safety including risk identification and assessment through HAZID/HAZOP, dispersion/radiation analysis, and hazardous area classification
  • Additional Requirements: Ability and experience in providing technical support through the full lifecycle of the projects, ranging from feasibility and concept select studies through to FEED, detailed design, and commissioning; ability to be hands-on, flexible and work autonomously on multiple projects; confident communicator and team player with the ability to drive projects and clients' success
