About the Role

This Commercial Loss Adjuster position plays a critical role in assessing and resolving insurance claims by determining the cause, liability, and quantum of reported losses. Using our expertise and advanced technologies, you will assess claims through on-site visits and manage a portfolio of claims from initial advice to settlement, following our policies and procedures.

Your Key Accountabilities

  1. Determine the cause and extent of loss, ensuring efficiency and a customer-focused approach.
  2. Investigate whether the loss falls within the insurance policy's terms and conditions.
  3. Deliver loss-adjusting services that meet or exceed client service standards.
  4. Provide proactive communication with clients and customers on initial findings and potential solutions.
  5. Calculate repair and/or replacement costs (reserve).

Your Qualifications and Experience

  1. Prior adjusting experience is essential for this role.
  2. You will have a will to study or hold a professional qualification recognized by the Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance (ANZIIF).
  3. Excellent communication and report-writing skills are required.
  4. You must be passionate about customer service, with the ability to engage with various stakeholders.
  5. Self-motivated with strong time management and organizational skills, a current and valid driver's licence is also necessary.
