**About the Role:**
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Psychologist to provide psychological assessments, interventions, and therapeutic services to inmates. As a key member of our Rehabilitation and Reintegration team, you will play a crucial role in promoting the wellbeing and successful reintegration of inmates into the community.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Deliver psychological assessments and therapeutic services to inmates, including cognitive impairment and mental health issues.
- Provide expert consultation to staff on managing complex inmate behaviours.
- Support inmate rehabilitation through evidence-based practices and contribute to a culturally sensitive and inclusive environment.
- Engage in ongoing professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge.
**Requirements:**
- A minimum four-year accredited qualification in psychology with current provisional or full registration with the Psychology Board of Australia.
- Ideal experience working in a correctional environment, delivering programs such as EQUIPS, Real Understanding of Self Help, and Out of the Dark.
- Experience in assessment and treatment of mental health issues, cognitive impairment, and behaviour management.
- Ability to develop knowledge and understanding of contemporary correctional concepts, principles, and practices relevant to psychology assessment and treatments.
