Job Details

Our Brisbane office is seeking a highly skilled and ambitious Acoustic Consultant to join our high-performing and friendly Acoustics & Vibration team.

Key Responsibilities

As an Acoustic Consultant, you will be responsible for carrying out technical tasks which require accuracy in calculations, data analysis, modelling and design. This will involve manipulating and managing large data sets. You will also have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects across APAC, including environmental noise monitoring, building acoustics, 3D computer noise modelling and numerical analysis of results.

Project Expectations

Typical day-to-day tasks would involve:

  • Carrying out technical tasks with accuracy in calculations, data analysis, modelling and design.
  • Working on a wide range of projects across APAC.
  • Mentoring and guiding junior level staff.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A relevant bachelor degree (ideally mechanical or electrical engineering, environmental engineering or science).
  • 4-8+ years' experience within a consulting environment.
  • Capability and experience with coding, GIS, noise monitoring and prediction.
  • Experience and high competency with noise monitoring equipment and/or 3D computer noise models.
