Seeking a seasoned insurance expert to lead our team in underwriting and operational excellence.

Skill Requirements:
  • 10+ years of experience in Life (re)insurance, with extensive technical knowledge of comprehensive mortality, critical illness, ABD, and disability benefits.
  • A strong understanding of group and retail market products, particularly in the APAC region, with expertise in ANZ.
  • Familiarity with market regulations and business frameworks, enabling valuable inputs to pricing teams.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering high-quality results, driving process improvements, and developing underwriting guidelines tailored to client needs.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Manage complex referrals, claims re-underwriting, and day-to-day operations, ensuring timely and competitive decisions.
  • Develop underwriting strategies for assigned markets, collaborate with business teams, and identify opportunities for growth.
  • Build relationships with key clients through meetings, webinars, workshops, and training initiatives.
  • Refine underwriting guidelines, develop manuals, and lead underwriting projects.
