About headspace Port Augusta
headspace Port Augusta provides mental health services to young people aged 12-25 years old. We offer a range of services including individual therapy sessions, group programs, and family therapy.
The role
- 52.5 hours per week (0.7 FTE) - Fixed Term until 2025
- Lead and contribute to the planning, delivery, reporting, and evaluation of the headspace centre.
- Provide clinical and professional support to Mental Health Clinicians and other centre staff.
- Establish and maintain local partnerships with stakeholders to ensure services and activities are available for young people.
- Provide clinical consultation and clinical supervision to team members.
- Maintain an active caseload/service provision through evidence-based, best practice psychological assessments and interventions.
Requirements
- Applicable to suitably experienced and qualified Psychologists, Social Workers, and Occupational Therapists trained in Mental Health, or Mental Health Nurses.
- Current and full registration with appropriate registration authority (AHPRA or AASW).
- Possess a minimum of 2 years supervised experience in the area of mental health.
- National Police Check, Department of Human Services Child-Related Employment Screening.
