Senior Family Lawyer Opportunity

Our practice is seeking an experienced and accomplished Senior Family Lawyer to collaborate with our Melbourne and Brisbane teams.

  • This role offers the opportunity to develop a strong client following, manage your own matters, and build a network of professional relationships while enjoying autonomy with support from a respected colleague.

You will have the flexibility to manage your caseload and work arrangements, including the option to work from our Queen Street office or remotely. Our team values collaboration, teamwork, and client care, providing a supportive environment for you to thrive in.

  • Strong referral network: leverage cross-practice referrals from Wills & Estates, Commercial, Litigation, and Employment.

The successful candidate will:

  • Manage a diverse caseload of property settlements, parenting matters, and family violence work.
  • Build and maintain long-lasting relationships with clients through empathy and commercial acumen.
  • Develop their client base by leveraging internal referrals and marketing initiatives.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to deliver exceptional results for clients.

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • 5+ years of experience in Family Law, ideally at Senior Solicitor or Senior Associate level.
  • A modest referral network or the ability to drive business development.
  • Confidence in managing complex matters end-to-end with a strong focus on client satisfaction.
  • Someone who thrives in a collaborative environment and is eager to take the next step in their career.
